Install SAB Player Pro on Xbox
SAB Player Pro installs from the console's Microsoft Store, like any Xbox app: it is free and updates itself.
- On the console, open the Microsoft Store (from Home or with the Xbox button on the controller).
- Search for "SAB Player Pro" and open the app page.
- Select "Get" (or "Install"): the console downloads the app.
- Start SAB Player Pro from My games & apps → Apps. You can pin it to Home.
From a phone or a computer
The button on this page opens the SAB Player Pro page on the Microsoft Store website. To install it on the console, use the Xbox Microsoft Store, signed in with the same Microsoft account.
Add your playlist
Your playlist is added online, on the sabplayer.com Playlists page, with the MAC address and password shown by SAB Player Pro on the console.
- Open SAB Player Pro on the Xbox: the screen shows the MAC address and password of your console.
- Open the Playlists page (device.sabplayer.com/list) on your phone or computer, or scan the code shown by the app. The short address sabtv.net, shown in the app, leads to the same page.
- Sign in with the MAC address and password, then add your M3U playlist or your Xtream Codes login.
- The SAB Player Pro screen updates by itself.
ℹ️ The Xbox does not give its real MAC address to apps: SAB Player Pro shows a code in the same format, unique to your console.
SAB Player Pro on Xbox features
On Xbox, the picture is decoded by the console (H.264 and HEVC up to 4K) and the audio by FFmpeg, so it plays AC3, E-AC3, AAC-LATM and MP2 audio that the console's web player cannot.

Yes. SAB Player Pro is free on the Microsoft Store for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One S and Xbox One. On the console, open the Microsoft Store and search for "SAB Player Pro".
How do I watch my IPTV playlist on Xbox?
Install SAB Player Pro from the console's Microsoft Store, note the MAC address and password shown by the app, then add your M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login on the Playlists page (device.sabplayer.com/list). The app updates by itself.
Does SAB Player Pro play 4K on Xbox?
Yes, up to 4K HEVC (H.265) on Xbox One S, One X, Series S and Series X, with a 4K TV. The original Xbox One (2013) has no 4K HEVC decoder: the picture is limited to 1080p there.
Does Dolby audio (AC3, E-AC3) work?
Yes. AC3 and E-AC3 audio, as well as the AAC-LATM and MP2 of TV streams, is decoded by the FFmpeg player built into the app. You pick the audio track and subtitles during playback.
Does SAB Player Pro provide any content?
No. SAB Player Pro is a media player only: we do not provide, host or distribute any content. You add your own playlists and you are responsible for their content.
Which MAC address do I use for my Xbox?
The one SAB Player Pro shows on screen. The Xbox does not give its real MAC address to apps: the app shows a code in the same format, unique to your console.
Can I play music in the background or play a game at the same time?
No. Like the other 4K video apps on Xbox, SAB Player Pro closes when you start a game, and playback pauses when the app goes to the background.
